From hiking trails to picnic spots, we've rounded up 6 of the best outdoor adventures to try this summer.

The Fat Olive
For those of you who prefer to sit back and enjoy nature from the comfort of your deck chair, drink in hand. There's also a farmyard on the property where kids can make friends with the resident goats and rabbits. This is perfect for a Sunday afternoon outside the city.
Hedianga Hiking Trail
This one requires a bit of a drive, but it'll be worth it when you're there. If you're looking to get outdoors, and get some exercise while you're at it, you'll love this challenging hiking trail. The Hedianga Farm is located in Olympus, Pretoria and is about 50km from Fourways. Bring loads of water with you as the trail is bound to be hot during the summer days. Nirox Sculpture Park
Another absolutely beautiful place to spend the day. The Nirox Sculpture Park is located in the Cradle of Humankind and you'll love the drive out to that scenic part of Gauteng.
